Benjamin Windibank
Head Writer & Creator
From the England, Windibank is the creator of the What if Doctor Who Wasn’t Axed? series and has been the overall Head Writer since the series’ inception. Additionally, he is the sole editor of What if Doctor Who Wasn’t Axed? – The Magazine. He was a member of the Doctor Who YouTube Channel, The Whoniversals, from 2018 to 2025.

Matt Moir
Writer (2017-19)
From Scotland, Moir was the primary co-writer on the What if Doctor Who Wasn’t Axed? series from 2017 to 2019, playing an important part in a huge period of growth for the series. He was instrumental in the casting of four different Doctors. Like Windibank, he was also a member of The Whoniversals, having been a founding member in 2016.

Tadeusz Cisłak
Writer (2019-24)
From Poland, Cisłak came on board the series, after being a vocal fan in the community, to co-write, spinoff series, The Elysium. He later became the primary writer on the show’s final season. Following this, he became the primary writer on Doctor Who: Through Time and Space, the Polish adaptation of Doctor Who. Alongside Windibank, Cisłak co-wrote The Elysium: The Complete Story.

Toffa
Title Sequences & Ratings (2020-24)
Toffa had been an active member of the What if Doctor Who Wasn’t Axed? community before becoming an official contributor in 2020. Alongside Windibank, he designed several updated title sequences for the early years of the series. He also contributed the vast majority of the BARB ratings data for the series and regularly writes the Public Image feature in the Magazine.
Soundsmyth Creative
Composer & Digital Artist (2018-21)
Soundsmyth Creative began their work on What if Doctor Who Wasn’t Axed? composing several different theme tunes for the series before turning their talents toward poster art. They produced 10 posters for the series before departing after securing a job making covers for Big Finish Productions.
Isaac Heeks
Visual Effects & Digital Artist (2018-20)
Heeks (previously credited as Embersfield Films) began his work on What if Doctor Who Wasn’t Axed? by helping to produce visual effects for a TV spot trailer for Doctor Who (2003). The following year, he designed a new version of the 1991 title sequence. Later on, he contributed 2 posters for the series.
Will Maddox
Illustrator (2021-22)
Maddox began his work on What if Doctor Who Wasn’t Axed? by designing the animated versions of the characters featured in Doctor Who: Adventures. Following this, he continued to contribute illustrated versions of Doctors and Companions for use in the Magazine. He’s been a member of The Whoniversals since 2021.
